Well they probably aren’t outside playing having fun and being active. Are they in the house watching Netflix? Or lounging on the sofa with an iPad?
It’s time to think about how you are going to keep your children active now that the days are shorter and the nights longer. Most kids will only get outside at the weekends now that the nights are getting longer.
Do you want your kids vegetating in front of the TV for the next four to five months or do you want them to be active healthy individuals?
Taekwondo is a great way for all of your family to get plenty of exercise. It promotes confidence and good health by keeping your kids active.
As an instructor for the ATKDA I was thinking about this the other day so that I could write this latest blog post.
When a new parent walked in with his child and I asked why he was bringing his child along. He said “The nights are getting longer and he can’t go out and play. So we wanted him to stay active.” To be honest I was surprised that he had been thinking the same.
Take a look at your child do you want them to be confident and self reliant? Then it’s time to start them on a journey to become the adult you want them to be.
